This awareness session is designed as an overview of the National Board Certification (NBC) process for teachers, union leaders or administrators.  The purpose of this session outline the new National Board Certification 3.0 requirements.  It will also provide access to resources for the professional, financial and technical supports available to candidates.  Timelines, fees and a discussion of certification areas will also be presented. This is professional development that is completely aligned with the New York State Teaching Standards and APPR.
