A Candidate Support Provider (CSP) is an NBCT who has been trained in ethical practices for National Board Certification candidate support.  This year, the Long Island National Board Network will offer Tier 1 and Tier 2 trainings at Adelphi in Hauppauge.  Tier 2 training will be on July 13-14 and Tier 1 training will be on September 9 and 16.  It is not necessary to take these trainings sequentially.

 

Those who have never trained as a CSP need to take BOTH Tier 1 and Tier 2 training.  CSPs who have not been trained in the Jump Start materials must take the Tier 2 training to be able to apply to SUNY Empire as an adjunct professor so that you can offer cohort participants Empire grad credits through ELT.
