Component 3: Learning Environment

This session is NEA's Jump Start into Component 3 for board certification. Participants will examine the NBPTS standards, scoring rubric and entry requirements.  Educators will analyze video to see evidence of learning environment, student engagement, and effective instruction. They will discuss the technical aspects of videotaping in their classroom and begin to plan their written commentary.
